프린스턴 일본인 교회의 노부목사님께서 아래와 같이 교회, 목사님 기도 제목 보내주셨습니다. 함께 기도 부탁드립니다.
Hi Kevin,
I am sorry that my response has been late.
Please pray for these items. I appreciate your prayers for us.
Princeton Japanese Church
ESL class for Japanese women, that meets every Friday, is going to have a Christmas luncheon on December 13.
J-Kids has become a well-known kids' group among the Japanese community in central Jersey. Children come to J-Kids with high expectations each time, having lots of fun and learning about God.
PJC is going to have a Christmas worship service on December 21. Every year many non-Christian families attend this service. Some church members are going through personal issues that make it difficult for them to come to church.
Children and Youth ministry at Japanese Christian Church of New Jersey (Maywood, NJ)
I am leading a Youth out-reach gathering that is happening on November 30. Every Sunday during worship service, I minister elementary school children. Christmas Youth Gathering is being held on December 14. Also, Christmas Gathering for children is being held on December 15.
Health and financial needs
My wife and I have been experiencing decline in physical strength. It is not as serious as some kind of disease, but we feel we need to slow down. Especially, I have been experiencing pains in my lower back and groin after long drives to north Jersey. I am considering reducing my trips there because this situation is affecting the ministries in Princeton and my daily lives.
Financial struggles have been getting bigger lately. I am considering working part-time for some kind of remote work, hopefully using the Japanese language.
Thank you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, for blessing us through prayer and giving.
May the Lord God bless you abundantly.
I also have the following item for prayer.
Our family in Japan
My father turned 90 years old this month and has dementia and probably parkinson disease as well. He tends to walk out by himself and gets lost in the neighborhood. Please pray for his safety and peace of mind.
My sister takes care of my father well, but she is very busy working for her kindergarten and church with many responsibilities. Pray for her mental and physical health.
My wife's mother lives alone in Hiroshima. She is 80 years old and very healthy but is feeling lonely after her husband passed away last year. Please pray for God's healing and encouragement upon her.
In Christ,
Nobu Kurisu
